Event Details
What day and time? When is the Event?
The event will be two full days of content!
Date: April 24-25, 2025
Time: See Agenda here
Where is the venue?
We’re hosting at The University of British Columbia’s Vancouver campus at the NEST. UBC is located at the western tip of the Point Grey Peninsula in the city of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada.
The Nest is a LEED Platinum Certified building focused on sustainability and is right in the center of campus next to the bus loop. The event will be held on the second floor of the architecturally stunning building at the address below:
6133 University Blvd.
Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z1 Canada
How do I get to Vancouver?
If you’re coming from out of town, the easiest airport to fly into is The Vancouver International Airport (YVR). YVR is actually in our neighbouring city of Richmond, but is only a 27 minute train ride into the heart of downtown. If you’re planning to head directly to the venue from the airport, it is about 25 minute car ride.
If you’re coming from the island or Seattle, you can also fly in on Harbour Air, which will drop you downtown in Coal Harbour.
How do I get to the venue?
Point A to Point B car sharing, such as Car2Go and Evo are available if you want to drive into the campus. Car hailing, such as Uber and Lyft, is available. Vancouver has a number of Taxi companies too: Vancouver Taxi, Yellow Cab, Blacktop & Checker.
Should you decide to drive, there is hourly parking at UBC. Due to construction, we will be providing the best parking lot for the event closer to the event time.
If you are staying downtown, there are some express buses to the UBC campus along Burrard Street.
Are there multiple buildings?
No, all sessions and events will be held within The Nest. However, the space is really big so you still might be able to hit your daily steps count if you want to.
Are there hotel blocks?
Are hotel blocks with a special rate are sold out but you might still be able to get a room. Head here for instructions.
Will there be parking?
UBC campus has a lot of parkades with hourly parking.

What is a Dreamin event?
Dreamin events are being held all around the world to bring the Salesforce Ohana together outside of Dreamforce and TDX events run by Salesforce itself. These are community run and led events in local areas from Texas to India. This is Canada’s second Nation-wide Dreamin’ event, and we can’t wait to keep growing it!
How is this event Canada-wide?
The team putting this together and the attendees are from all over Canada and we’re hoping to rotate the city of this event each year to cover all of Canada! We’re a BIG country, and there are lots of big cities we want to go to. We started this event in our nation’s capital, Ottawa in 2019 and this year we’re really going coast to coast by hosting the TND25 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
I can’t make it but I want to check out the content!
Reach out to your Trailblazer community leader and ask them organize the satellite event in your area! If they reach out to us, we will help with the content and in any way we can!
User Groups
Who are you people?
Thanks for asking! We’re a group of Canadian community leaders and Salesforce evangelists from all over our great big country. Learn about us here!
What’s the weather like?
Vancouver has a mild climate, so we guarantee you won’t see that iconic snowy Canadian winter. Spring might bring some famous “Raincouver” weather, but rain or sun there will be cherry blossoms, amazing sunsets and if the day is sunny we’re sure you will fall in love with Vancouver. You can expect an average temperature of 14° C (58° F), typically ranging between 9°C and 17°C (48-68°F).
I’m not in Canada - do I need to get a visa to get into Canada?
If travelling from abroad, what you need will depend on where you are from, how you are travelling, and what documents you are travelling with. Please plan ahead and review the official guidance from Immigration Canada. If a Visa letter is required, please request one here.
What will the food be like?
You can expect Canadian welcome food with some West Coast quirks here and there. We will post more information about the food and drinks as we get closer to the event.
