2020 Call for Speakers
Want to have input in how True North Dreamin 2020 comes together? Now is your chance - our call for speakers is officially open! We thought we’d take the time to tell you why we want you to submit a session, and how you can help shape our event.
Share your knowledge
Do you know the best way to truly learn something? Teach it! That’s right! If you want to really make sure you know a topic inside and out, it’s by sharing that knowledge with others, and we just so happen to have a willing audience for you.
Public Speaking experience
Learning by sharing is one way, but there’s another valuable way you can grow your skill set, and that’s with public speaking experience. Teaching in a small setting is one thing, but on a stage in front of dozens of your peers is an entirely different animal.
First time presenter?
We’ve got you covered - we’ll be providing you timelines, be available to answer any questions, and will even do dry runs if you need.
Feedback from 2019
We had over 40 sessions at TND 2019, which included sessions for Admins, Developers, Business users and even Architects, including a wide range of topics. And while we did our best to make sure we had as wide a range of sessions as we could, one of the consistent pieces of feedback we received was that attendees had hoped for more Developer content…
...So here’s where you come in! The only way we can have more diverse content is if you submit it. We’re calling presenters from all over the ecosystem, across different industries and products to help us provide a variety of diverse content for your fellow community attendees.
Giving back
And if all of those reasons weren’t enough to convince you to submit a session, here’s our favourite one… Giving back to the community! They've undoubtedly helped you learn and grow your skills over the years, and here’s your opportunity to do just that.
The best thing about community conferences is that they provide additional learning resources for the community, by the community, and we can’t wait to hear about what you’ve been working on!
